Barkley Hendricks came for a slide talk and individual studio visit as part of my MFA studies in Provincetown at the Fine Arts Work Center. I asked him if I could take his photo, since he takes photos of so many people for paintings. He agreed and I painted this painting with the three days he was in town visiting.
