These Party Animals were part of one of the largest public art projects in Washington DC in the summer of 2002. I worked with fellow Baltimore artist, Leslie Heins, to transform one elephant and one donkey sculpture into a pair of bumble bees.

Our bees were placed in front of Neiman Marcus for the summer and then auctioned off.

Photos of both finished animals are featured in the Party Animals book available at Amazon.com. The Elephant was also featured on the commemorative poster.
