This depiction of my gallery and studio (MOXY Studios) in the branches of a live oak tree, far above Magazine Street, symbolizes the permanent loss of my dream to have a gallery in New Orleans due to hurricane Katrina. Although we didn't have any water damage in the gallery, we were economically forced to close and leave Magazine Street (my yellow brick road) behind.
