The owners of this home wanted a traditional Mardi Gras color scheme of purple, green and gold.

I chose to paint the home at night so that the house and sky could be a dominant purple. The dominant fleur de lis on the mailbox lets you know you are in New Orleans.

The couple's dogs can be seen on the front porch.
