This piece features the crescent-shaped Mississippi River painted in blood red. . .hinting at the damages done in New Orleans by Katrina. There are two traditional Victorian house brackets at the top of the painting representing the many homes that were flooded right up to the roofline.

This is a limited edition of 50 signed giclees. The original paintings in this series sold rather quickly after hurricane Katrina.
