This piece features the winding Mississippi River and flood waters rising up over the columns of a shotgun house. Details of the city map are scratched through the paint and the location of the Superdome is marked with a red dot. Several fleur de lis decorate the piece.

This is a limited edition of 50 signed giclees. The original paintings in this series sold rather quickly after hurricane Katrina. This piece makes a nice tryptich with the two previous Shutters pieces.
